The Neighbourhood Advice-Action Council, in collaboration with elderly centers, elderly drama group, and technology companies, has developed a mobile application called “Savouring the Fragrance of Sham Shui Po” that utilizes augmented reality (AR) technology to recreate historical buildings with oral history plays by senior actors. This application features textual descriptions and a comparative function that presents 3D architectural models of selected buildings, including Mei Ho House, Shek Kip Mei Flatted Factory Building, and Garden Centre.
